Ticket information update for the 1st npower Ashes Test Match (Weds 8th – Sun 12th July, 2009)

When do the tickets for the Ashes go on sale?
Initial General Sale tickets for Days 1-4 went on sale on Monday 3rd November 2008 and sold out within a few hours.

A further release of tickets will go on sale in the New Year. These will be for Day 5, along with additional seats for Days 1-4 (seats which will become available upon confirmation of the plans for the additional temporary seating).

Do Glamorgan Members have priority?
There will be no priority booking period for the further release of tickets in the New Year.

How can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets from the online ticket sales page of www.glamorgancricket.com or via a dedicated telephone service. More information will be available on the Club’s website in January 2009.

To register your interest in tickets, please e-mail tickets@glamorgancricket.co.uk where you will automatically receive a communication from the Club prior to the 2nd on-sale date.

How many tickets can I purchase?
You will be able to purchase up to a maximum of 4 tickets per order.

How much are the tickets?
The further release of tickets for Days 1-4 will all be priced at £85. Ticket prices for Day 5 will be confirmed in December.

Can I buy disabled tickets online?
Disabled seating will be made available from the general sale date and can be purchased through a dedicated telephone number.

Can I choose the seats I want?
General Sale seats will be sold on a best available basis.

When will payment be taken for the tickets?
The payment will be taken on the day that the tickets are processed.

What happens if I buy tickets and I am unable to attend on the day?
We cannot alter an order once placed and will not refund your ticket if you cannot attend the game, unless you hold a ticket for Days 1-4 and it falls into the normal refund category as specified by the ECB.

What is the refund policy?
The refund policy for Days 1-4 will be detailed on the back of the match tickets. The terms and conditions associated with the sale of Day 5 tickets will be confirmed at a later date.

When will the tickets be sent out?
All General Sale tickets will be sent via a secure delivery postal service approximately one month before the Match.

Will I be able to book parking?
Disabled ticket holders will need to contact the club directly to arrange parking, however, limited spaces are available.

A Park and Ride Facility will be set up for all members of the public, details of which will be distributed with the tickets.
