Glamorgan are hoping to bounce back from defeat to Somerset on Sunday, when they travel to Chelmsford for a crucial Royal London One-Day Cup match against Essex Eagles tomorrow (2pm start).

Head Coach Robert Croft has named the same 13-man squad that made the trip to Somerset on Sunday, with promising Australian-born batsman Nick Selman and Scotland international seamer Ruaidhri Smith both included.

Wicket-keeper-batsman Chris Cooke remains sidelined, while Will Bragg – who made a return to Glamorgan's white-ball side at Taunton – looks set to reprise his role at Number Three.

David Lloyd impressed again at the top of the order against Somerset, making a brisk 42, but Glamorgan will be eyeing a return to winning ways after defeat in their previous two Royal London One-Day matches.

The Welsh county currently sit third in the RL One-Day Cup South Group, with three wins from their five matches in the competition so far, one point behind Essex, who are top of the group. Victory for the Welsh county would immeasurably boost their chances of qualification to the knockout stages, with three games to go in the group stages.

Glamorgan's experienced 'keeper Mark Wallace, after defeat to Somerset, said: "Unfortunately, when we batted, we didnt quite get that big individual score that you need when you chase down a total like that.

"They (Somerset) were the better side on the day, but we have a game on Tuesday to get back to winning ways, hopefully. I think that if we win two of our last three games, we will be okay."

Essex have named a 15-man squad for the game, as the Eagles look to continue their fine form in the 50-over competiton. Ravi Bopara leads a strong side which includes promising batsmen Tom Westley and Dan Lawrence.

Glamorgan's 13-man squad: Jacques Rudolph (capt.), David Lloyd, Will Bragg, Colin Ingram, Aneurin Donald, Mark Wallace, Graham Wagg, Craig Meschede, Andrew Salter, Timm van der Gugten, Michael Hogan, Nick Selman, Ruaidhri Smith.

Essex 15-man squad: Ravi Bopara (capt), James Foster, Kishen Velani, Nick Browne, Graham Napier, Tom Westley,  Paul Walter, Ryan ten Doeschate, Dan Lawrence, Jaik Mickleburgh, Jamie Porter, Callum Taylor, Jesse, Ryder, Matt Quinn, Ashar Zaidi.

Glamorgan's RL One-Day Cup match against Essex gets underway at 2pm tomorrow, at Chelmsford.
