Timm doubles up at Balconiers Awards

Glamorgan\'s leading wicket taker in 2016, Timm van der Gugten was presented with the St Helen\'s Balconiers Player of the Year Award at last night\'s event at the Tower\'s Hotel, Swansea.

 Glamorgan players, coaches and staff joined two hundred supporters at the annual Balconiers end of season supporters event, where milestone awards were presented to Anuerin Donald for reaching 1,000 first class runs in his debut season as a professional, Nick Selman, Owen Morgan and Kiran Carlson for maiden first-class centuries for the club.

Colin Ingram received recognition for his remarkable season in white ball cricket, Mark Wallace for twice equalling the club record for number of caught dismissals in a match, Dean Cosker for his 21 years of service and also to Chris Cooke.

2nd XI Player of the Year winner was Jack Murphy whilst the Gerry Munday Memorial Award for the Most Improved Uncapped Player of the Year was Owen Morgan.
