Glamorgan all-rounder Colin Ingram has strengthened his position at the top of the NatWest T20 Blast Professional Cricketers’ Association Most Valuable Player Rankings.

Having pummelled a 46-ball century against Sussex at Arundel, Ingram followed up with 114 from 55 balls to help Glamorgan complete a spectacular run chase against Essex at Chelmsford.

The former South Africa international was rewarded with 39 rankings points which took him to 96 for the season in the competition. Ingram now has a 15 points advantage over Derbyshire’s Wayne Madsen who moved into second place after he made a half century in yesterday’s victory over Worcestershire at New Road.
