Batsman Joe Burns will miss today’s Vitality Blast match against Surrey with a back injury.
The Australian overseas signing jarred his back during Glamorgan’s match against Sussex Sharks whilst fielding.
Mark Rausa, Head Physiotherapist at Glamorgan, said: “Joe first felt his back during the T20 against Sussex while we were fielding.
“Although he initially responded to treatment, he exacerbated it against Gloucestershire at Cheltenham on Friday to the point he no longer feels that he can contribute to the team.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and treat the injury as needed.”
