Batsman David Lloyd has been sidelined by a finger injury he sustained during Glamorgan\'s victory over Essex Eagles at Chelmsford on Friday night.
Lloyd injured his finger whilst fielding and will undergo a small surgical procdedure on the joint on Thursday morning.
The north Walian has been in fine form this season having hit career-best scores in both First-Class and List A cricket and will be a big miss to the middle order, however he is expected to be back batting within 2-3 weeks.
