The SWALEC Stadium is thrilled to announce that they have been shortlisted for the “Sports Venue of the Year” award at the prestigious 2010 Sport Industry Awards.
Shaun Tait, who will be Glamorgan’s overseas player in this year’s Twenty20 competition, won the Man-of-Match Award as Australia defeated Pakistan by two runs in a thrilling Twenty20 match at Melbourne, which also saw the paceman deliver the fastest ball ever recorded in Australia at 99.86 miles per hour! .
A group of Glamorgan bowlers, plus coach Steve Watkin, are spending ten days in India at the MRF Pace Academy in Chennai.
