Glamorgan Cricket wants to deliver the best experience to all our customers who visit Sophia Gardens.

We have reviewed the feedback we received during the Customer Service Surveys and implemented changes to make your visit here even better.

This will be an on-going strategy for the Club and we promise to make active steps to continually enhance your experience at the home of Welsh Cricket.

WHAT DID YOU WANT?

“Food is usually run of the mill fast outlet stuff”

“Sometimes the food queues are too long”

“Poor food outlets with too few and massive queues”

“No Gluten Free meal options by vendors”

We have embraced our Welsh roots and searched far and wide across Wales for locally sourced produce. This year we have partnered with local suppliers to bring a Welsh twist to our public dining options.

We have expanded the variation of our food offerings at International and Vitality Blast matches. You can now purchase ‘around the world’ cuisine at the many eating outlets with options such as French, Italian, Portuguese, Indian, Mexican, Sri Lankan, Chinese and much more. This will not only satisfy your taste buds but will reduce queuing time. Children’s portions will be available at all catering units.

“I want to see a better choice of drinks”

“What are your options for people who appreciate quality drinks?”

We have expanded our drinks options across our bars and concessions and introduced new range of beers, ales, spirits and soft drinks selection.“The announcements were unclear”

“Tannoy during game is indecipherable”

We are working with the contractors to ensure the placements of all speakers are located in positions to maximise sound clarity around the stadium.

“Not enough updating of whether play might resume”

“Clear communication about the prospect of play”

We will work closely with Match Officials to get messages relating to prospects of play to you quicker using social media, the match presenter and the big screen.

“Queues slow due to bags being inspected for alcoholic drinks”

Comprehensive security measures will be in place for all visiting the stadium on a match day with all bags will be searched on entrance. Your safety is paramount to us so please arrive as early as possible to avoid queues, we have plenty of entertainment on offer for Internationals and T20 matches to keep you busy before the start of the match!

“More merchandise outlets around the ground”

“Retail merchandise overpriced”

We are working closely with our new retail partner, Masuri, to increase the range of official merchandise on offer.
