Jack Murphy

Jack Murphy is a promising home-grown all-rounder who scored his maiden century for Glamorgan 2nd XI during 2016, and after a series of fine innings during 2017, he made his Championship debut towards the end of what had been a highly successful summer for the left-handed batsman

Some standout performances with both bat and ball in 2013 for Glamorgan 2nd XI and Wales Minor Counties saw Jack become Glamorgan’s Academy Player of the Year. This was a fitting reward for the tall all-rounder who spent much of the previous summer on the sidelines with injury.

A product of the Glamorgan Academy, Jack spent the winter of 2013/14 in New Zealand, before commencing his studies at Cardiff Met .

Random Fact:  Jack would have liked to be in the Royal Air Force if he wasn’t a cricketer.
