Marsh signed a two-year contract as Glamorgan’s overseas player for 2018 and 2019. The Australian is a highly experienced International cricketer, having played 32 Test Matches, 53 One Day Internationals and 15 T20 Internationals, scoring over 3,500 runs, including seven centuries.
Shaun is a proven performer in domestic white-ball and red-ball cricket, averaging over forty in both First-class and List A matches.
The 34-year old has also played 164 T20 games and is a three-time BBL winner with the Perth Scorchers and has played in the IPL for Kings XI Punjab.
Marsh also has previous experience in British conditions having played for Glamorgan during the T20 campaign of 2012, as well as being a member of the Australian touring party for the 2015 Ashes played in England and Wales.
Random Fact: Shaun’s nickname is SOS. His father, Australian International cricketer Geoff, is known as Swampy, with Shaun affectionately nicknamed Son of Swampy (SOS).
