Swansea match to start a day later

Glamorgan\'s Specsavers County Championship home match with Derbyshire at St. Helen\'s will now start a day later than previously scheduled - on Tuesday, 11th June.

The four-day game, Glamorgan’s sixth County Championship match in the 2019 summer, was previously scheduled to begin on Monday, 10th June. 

The two teams met at St. Helen’s last year with the match ending in a nail-biting draw after superb hundreds from Kiran Carlson and Usman Khawaja. 

The Welsh county’s away fixtures against Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Middlesex and Gloucestershire in the Specsavers County Championship have also been rescheduled with the match at The County Ground now to be played from Sunday, 19th May and the match versus Northamptonshire on Sunday, 2nd June.

Glamorgan's Specsavers County Championship match against Middlesex at Radlett Cricket Club will now start on Sunday 16th June with the finish scheduled for Wednesday 19th June, while the Gloucestershire away match originally scheduled to start on Monday, 24th June 2019 will start a day earlier on Sunday, 23rd June 2019.

Glamorgan’s County Championship campaign starts with the visit of Northamptonshire to Sophia Gardens on Thursday, 11th April. The final match in the competition will take place against Durham at Emirates Riverside on Monday, 23rd September.
