It's a fantastic honour - Hogan

After being awarded a Testimonial for 2020, Michael Hogan reflects on the secrets to his longevity, and what it means to him to have been awarded a Testimonial year after his service to the club.

Hogan was described by Glamorgan's Chief Executive Officer Hugh Morris as "a fan favourite, and someone who is respected up and down the country in opposition dressing rooms."

After eight years at the club, and over 500 wickets, Hogan has learnt a few secrets along the way to keeping fit and healthy, and admits that he's not all too keen on some aspects of modern sport.

"It's a fantastic honour and something I never thought I'd receive," said Hogan.

"It's a lot of work - I've seen Waggy tear his hair out so I know how much work I need to do!

It's my eighth season here, we live here permanently, it's a great spot and I really enjoy it."
