From Australia, via Netherlands International cricket, to Glamorgan – that has been all-rounder Timm van der Gugten’s cricketing odyssey.
Born near Sydney to Dutch parents, Timm first played for New South Wales before moving to Tasmania and he has also represented the Netherlands in One Day and T20 Internationals through his Dutch passport.
He first played for Glamorgan in 2016 and quickly made his name with bat and ball, being voted Glamorgan’s Player of the Year in both 2016 and 2018. A consistent all-round performer, Timm’s value to Glamorgan is acknowledged by all – just the sort of performer you would want in your team.
