Glamorgan Head Coach Robert Croft has named an unchanged 16-man squad for the Welsh county’s T20 Blast clash with Hampshire tonight, starting at 6.30pm.

The squad includes South African paceman Dale Steyn, who will make the second appearance of his six-game stint with Glamorgan.

Steyn and company will be facing former Glamorgan allrounder Darren Sammy, who lines up for Hampshire this evening.

Croft has included Andrew Salter in the squad and will have to decide whether or not to recall the Welsh spinner in place of one of the five seamers who played in the seven-wicket defeat to Essex Eagles on Wednesday night.

Dean Cosker is eyeing the 100-wicket milestone in T20 cricket, currently on 95 wickets after returning 1/22 off his four overs against Essex.

After that match, Cosker said: “T20 cricket is all about bouncing back, fixtures come thick and fast and we’re looking forward to the Hampshire game.

“We can improve in certain areas (after the Essex match) but we’ve got all bases covered with pace, spin, experience and youth. We know we can beat the best in the competition, so it bodes well for Friday night.

“Winning on home turf is hugely important, not just for the team but for the fans and hopefully we’ll put on a bit of a spectacle.”

Hampshire, who claimed a dramatic nine-run over Kent Spitfires last night, welcome back England’s James Vince to their squad, as well as Sammy and fellow overseas recruit Shahid Afridi.

Head Coach Giles White named a 14-man squad for both the Kent game and this visit to The SSE SWALEC, Cardiff.

Glamorgan squad: Jacques Rudolph (capt), David Lloyd, Colin Ingram, Aneurin Donald, Chris Cooke, Craig Meschede, Graham Wagg, Andrew Salter, Dale Steyn, Timm van der Gugten, Michael Hogan, Dean Cosker, Mark Wallace, Nick Selman, James Kettleborough, Dewi Penrhyn-Jones.

Hampshire squad: James Vince (capt.) Shahid Afridi, Michael Carberry, Will Smith, Adam Wheater, Jimmy Adams, Mason Crane, Sean Ervine, Tino Best, Liam Dawson, Ryan Stevenson, Gareth Berg, Gareth Andrew, Darren Sammy.
