28 Jun 2016 | Cricket
England will face Sri Lanka on Saturday 2nd July at The SSE SWALEC in Cardiff and to help you enjoy your, day here\'s our top tips.

1. Travel - There is no public car parking available at the ground on the day, the best way to get here is on a Park & Ride bus service or via public transport to Cardiff Central. Plan your journey in advance and leave plenty of time to get to the ground. Glamorgan Cricket will operate a Park & Ride service from Cardiff City Stadium, which is £10 per car on arrival. The car park opens at 8am and the last bus departs to the Park & Ride at 7.30pm.

2. Bring cash with you to the ground, as payments at the food and drink units and any ticket upgrades you may need to purchase are cash only. However, there is a cash point on site if you require one.

3. Bring a raincoat & sun-cream, please prepare yourself for all kinds of British summer weather! The latest weather forecast is set fair for Saturday, check out the BBC Weather page here.

4. Don't forget your TICKETS! Check the map sent in the Event guide with your tickets to see where you are seated so you are familiar with the ground before you arrive. No duplicate tickets will be issued.

5. Please stay off the pitch and within your limits so that you adhere to the Stadium Ground Regulations.

6. Take a walk around the ground, make sure you visit the Royal London Cricket Factory and test your cricketing skills at the Foster's Fanzone, soak up live music, grab food and drink, without missing a moment with the Fanzone big screen showing the action live.

7. Bought tickets this week? Collect at the ground from the gazebo in front of the Sport Wales building if you haven't had your tickets posted out. If you haven't bought tickets yet, blocks 28, 29, 30 and 31 still have tickets left, priced from £35 for adults, £10 for under 17s (Categrory C), to £65 (Category A).

8. Buying tickets on the day? There will be a On The Day ticket sales point outside the Sport Wales building from 8am – but there will be only a very limited number of tickets left for On The Day sales.

9. Our stewards and volunteer information ambassadors will be happy to help on the day. If you have any queries, big or small, please speak to a steward who will be happy to assist you.

10. Have a great day and enjoy your visit to The SSE SWALEC. Gates are open from 8.30am so arrive early and grab a drink and something to eat.
